WACO Theater Center is hosting the works of artist Tiffanie Anderson and will host two FREE acting workshops from @rl_studios 

With the merger of traditional paint techniques and mixed media design, the portraits capture the essence of Black leadership, Black image and Black identity. Portrait models in the gallery include Black stalwarts and artists such as, Cicely Tyson, Tina Turner, and WACO Theater Center supporter Jay Z, among others.

Scene Study with Kelly Tighe (@kellytighe)
The scene study classes involve actors taking scenes from film, television, plays, etc. and working on these scenes in order to receive feedback so the actor can grow their craft. In this open class, visiting students will see a scene performed, and an assessment of the scene by the instructor.

The cold reading class empowers artists to develop a killer cold reading process by introducing a proprietary and revolutionary new approach to auditioning, by demystifying their relationship to the camera and by helping to change their attitudes and expectations.

What: #NoHo Day is an arts crawl/open house event to celebrate our eclectic and creative #nohoartsdistrict! We are opening our doors with FREE theatre shows, dance classes, acting and film workshops, live music, dance and entertainment at different outside locations, art demonstrations and lots of libation and discounts from more than 50 NoHo restaurants, bars and businesses.
